Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) is the oldest and largest university in Hungary and it is the most popular higher education institution among applicants each year. As the leading research university in Hungary, the name of ELTE means knowledge, opportunities, competition, openness and community. It has Hungary’s largest scientific establishment with 17 doctoral schools and 128 doctoral programs, covering a wide spectrum of research projects

 

 

Currently, 35,000 students study at nine faculties, with about 4,500 international students from over 100 countries. Through its international relations all over the world (956 partner universities and 10 strategic alliences and university networks), ELTE is the only HEI representing Hungarian higher education in many regions and alliances.

The 10th QRMH will be held at The Faculty of Education and Psychology (PPK). The Faculty was created from the union of renowned, historic departments and research workshops. Some parts have been functioning as strongholds of the Hungarian pedagogy and psychology for more than a hundred years, being the leading representatives of Hungarian higher education. 

PPK is characterized as a holistic faculty of disciplines that focuses on human realization in physical and psychological harmony to the fullest possibilities. It teaches and popularizes these disciplines promoting a life-long awareness towards learning, education, and improvement as it has become a crossroad of personality-building and developmental sciences.
